Resolved Issues
- Measurement and grading is now more consistent, due to better consistency checks during measurement.
- Measurements better than a middle-range “D” are graded as “D” and not otherwise.
- Printed label formatting problem (black square out of place) corrected.
- Unsynchronized blinking problems corrected.
- The number of self-initiated calibration processes was reduced.
- You can initiate manual recovery of the colorimeter’s parameters by pressing EXECUTE+SETTING when in SERVICE mode (rarely necessary).
- Partial white level calibration in MENU+SELECT function corrected.
- Certain user messages that appear in the warm-up stage were rephrased for clarity.
- Smarter flash updates ensure extended longevity of flash memory and faster machine responses.
- UV light indicator moved to top-left corner of display to avoid obstruction of other displays.
Backwards Compatibility
- Hardware compatibility: Gran Colorimeter model DC3000.
- Software compatibility: DC3000 software version 1.03 or higher.
- Calibration compatibility: DC3000 software version 1.06 or higher. Upgrading from earlier versions requires a full calibration procedure, using qualified reference stones.
