Computer Requirements for Sarin Products*
Most Sarin products can be connected to standard computers meeting the following technical requirements. Consult your local Sarin dealer before purchasing a computer for your Sarin machine to make sure it meets all the necessary requirements. Below are the PC requirements for the Sarin products. Please note that there are H/W related requirements and operating system limitations related to specific machine hardware indicated at the bottom of the page. PC Requirements for DiaVision, Advisor Standard and DiaScribe Software packages: Intel® core2 duo processor 80GB hard disk. Memory: 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz 4 available USB2.0 ports. 1 available COM port /USB to RS232 cable 512MB display adaptor that supports 1280x1024 Resolution DVD-ROM drive. Microsoft®Compatible Mouse & Keyboard. Sarin recommends using the PL-2303 USB to Serial adapter; all other adaptors might not work.
