AGS Cut Grading, Re-cutting, and Rough Planning Software
The new diamond cut grading standards of the American Gem Society (AGS), now embedded in Sarin’s DiaVision and Advisor products, provide a top-notch solution for all diamond grading, re-cutting, and rough planning needs. AGS standards are based on years of research on diamonds’ light performance. Sarin has an exclusive license for the re-cutting and rough planning features and distribution rights to the AGS Performance Grading Software (PGS), used to grade polished stones according to the AGS Diamond Cut Grading system.
The AGS Performance Grading Software (PGS), as used at AGS Labs, analyzes the light performance of a faceted diamond. All facets of the diamond are measured in three dimensions and the measurements are then analyzed by a ray tracing program to trace light rays traveling through the diamond.
Re-cutting and rough planning are easily performed with the new diamond cut grading system exclusively integrated in Sarin’s products.
